April 15th, 2008: OMG! is currently CLOSED to all submissions while we play catch-up and get things back on track. Please do not send any submissions at this time. Thanks, and keep being awesome! Thanks for visiting the official website of OMG!: The Book of Awesome Stuff. The title OMG! is derived from shorthand internet slang used by all the cool kids. It means “Oh my God!” In short, the book's purpose is to make its readers be all like “OMG!” The book will be a tasty blend of fiction and nonfiction designed to surprise, entertain, and inspire. Most importantly, it will be pretty awesome. OMG! is tentatively scheduled to be released in the Summer of 2008; it will be compiled and edited by Leo Siren. The book will be published on a “print-on-demand” basis by a publisher to be determined at a later date. 15% of all profits from OMG! will be donated to an as-yet-undetermined charitable entity. Writers, playwrights, artists, communist dictators, super heroes, rock n' rollers, quantum physicists, and other awesome people who are interested in contributing to OMG! are welcome to check out our submission guidelines. |
